Webmail time stamp!

hello,I have one user that when he logs in to Webmail the time stamp of any message in the Mail view (under Date column) is different from when the same message is opened and you look at the Date field. For example a message received at 2:17 pm (according to the Mail view > Date column) will show 6:17 pm when opened. This applies to every message in that user’s database. I opened his Webmail on my PC and get the same results, even though when I log into my Webmail account everything looks fine on the same PC.

I just did the database design replace of the user’s database but still no luck.

Any ideas where else I should look?

What Release are you running? What Template version are you running? Are you actually using the old WebMail interface, or are you using the iNotes or DWA interfaces?

We run R 6.5.4 and the template is inotes6.ntf (if I remember correctly). The thing is that nobody else is experiencing this problem, other than the single user. I was able to recreate the problem by logging into HIS account on my workstation but when I log in with MY Webmail credentials everything is fine. That points me to something in his database, but it is based on the same template as mine…???

Well, that’s probably a good thing (that it’s just affecting one user) :slight_smile: There are a number of Time Zone settings in DWA. (Preferences → Calendar → Time Zone Settings). Perhaps your user has an alternate time zone set or has otherwise tweaked the settings?
