Anybody knows which one has less load on the server? Lotus client or Web access?
We are planning on moving people from using the client to start using the web access but I’m not sure about the load on the server.

The web client will have a higher server load than the Notes client. The browser does relatively little processing compared to the Notes client, and large portions of the user interface need to be served fresh every time anything is opened from the web. In the client, only data need to be updated most of the time, and the major bits of the user interface are loaded at most once per session and cached locally.

Web Client will slow down your server and affect performance. It will take up a hell no of threads and if someone performs multiple searches then you will face performance issues.
