Webmail/iNotes contacts - disable

One of our users synchronized thier local address book to iNotes. Is there a way to disable/delete the address book from user iNotes?

Reason for asking is that we use black berry services within our network. When the unit get activated through ‘enterprise activation’ process, it pull a copy of the iNotes contacts to the blackberry handheld. Since the contacts in the iNotes are out of date and have probably done this in error to start off with, I would like to disable it.

any help or suggestions will greatly be appreciated.

Subject: Disabling address sync

You have a couple of options:

a) In Preferences, under Contacts, uncheck the option to “Enable Synchronize Contacts on the replicator”

b) Under the PIM Sync options, Disable Address Book Sync on the BES user profile.
