Subject: Webmail does not load mail file (page cant be displayed)
Have the same problem. To access webmail we do use a redirect, worked fine 'til upgraded server to 6.5.5, now redirect URL is no longer reflecting port that HTTP requests are redicrected to (we do not connect to port 80) example URLs below:http://webmail.server:portnumber/iwaredir.nsf?OpenDatabase

the notes client works with no problems, even from outside the local network. the HTTP service is running. i can get a login screen from the browser its just after you log in, it says loading mail file then goes to page can not be displayed.

OK, some follow up questions then.1. Did you use redirection to determine the mail file or do you manually typ in the url. If you use redirection, try calling the mail database url directly.
Check the url, make sure that it specified the correct path and filename
Does this happen to all users with iNotes template or only to some ?
If you have other database on the same server (application / mail using other template), try open them on the browser. Do they prompt you with the same error ?
Do you have any application on that server that does’t require authentication ? If so, can you view it on web browser ? Try http://webmail.mydomain.com/homepage.nsf. It should load the default welcome page (black page)
Check your server’s log around the time you try to load the page, does it mention any error ?
Try to restart the http task, does it load correctly ?
Do you use Internet site documents ? Have you created a website document for webmail.mydomain.com ? Or do you default website document
