We have an issue with Users Webmail login sychronizing with their client Password. Say if a user changes their client password, the webmail does not change.
Settings are setup to synchronize via a policy but some users change but others do not. There seems to be a common issue with the users who are synchronizing and that is the users ID file is embedded into their Domino Address book on the Server.
Recent Changes that caused this to occur suddenly was when we upgraded our Email server from 6.5 FP1 to 7.0.1 FP1. During the original migration from Outlook/Exchange using the CMT tool, the migration tool did not embed the User ID’s into the Server Address book. Up until we migrated from 6.5 we have continued to have issues with the synchronization of the two ID passwords. It seems if we manually update the webmail client with the current client ID, it works. Is this how the process works and if so, how can we get the ID to embed the system into the Mail file automatically as opposed to the users having to update them manually.
