Web-when categorized a colum, lost documents

Hello, A problem made me crazy.I need to category third column, when I set up column 1 as descending, I lost all documents in 2004. (2004

Oct-Dec 2004

Jul-Sep 2004

Jul-Sep 2004)

if I set up ascending, I lostdocuments in 2006.

There are 3 columns in a view.

1 column:(Descending, Categorized)

“

” + @Left(period;4) + “
”

2 cloumn:(Ascending, standard)

"<input type="hidden" value=""

name="“+@If(REPORTINGQUARTER=“4”;0;reportingquarter)+”">"

3 columd:(Descending, Categorized)

Db := @ReplaceSubstring(@ReplaceSubstring(@Subset(@DbName;-1);“\”; “/”); " "; “+”);

QRT:= @If(ReportingQuarter = “1”; “1” + “” + “st” +“” + " Quarter";ReportingQuarter = “2”;“2” + “” + “nd” +“” + " Quarter";ReportingQuarter = “3”;“3” + “” + “rd” +“” + " Quarter";ReportingQuarter = “4”;“4” + “” + “th” +“” + " Quarter";“”);

per := @Left(Period;4);

Period:= @If(ReportingQuarter = “1”; "April - June "+ per;

ReportingQuarter=“2”; "July - September "+ per ;

ReportingQuarter=“3”; "October - December "+ per ;

ReportingQuarter=“4”; "January - March "+ per ; “”);

qstr := “&RP=” + @Implode(@Explode(Period;" “);”+");

qstrold := “&RP=” + Period + “~” + ReportingQuarter ;

View := “/WEBbyperiod2/”;

Form := “/WebReport2”;

UNID := @Text(@DocumentUniqueID);

Title := “<a class = "DefStd" href='/” + Db + Form + “?ReadForm” + qstr +“&Start=1&Count=1000&L=E&” + “'” + “title='”+ Period +“'”+“>” + Period + “”;

"   " + “

  • ” + Title +“
  • ”

    What is the “qstr := “&RP=” + @Implode(@Explode(Period;” “);”+“);” doing here?

    Subject: @Implode@Explode

    qstr := “&RP=” + @Implode(@Explode(Period;" “);”+");

    This line is taking everything in Period and exploding it on a space, which gives you a multi-value entity without spaces. Then the code is imploding that multi-value entity into a single string and putting the plus sign in between the values. It might be easier to do:

    @Replace(Period; " "; “+”)

    In URLs, you have to replace spaces with plus signs, or %20, to allow it to be one long string in the url.

    Thanks Robert. I was wondering categorize a column will affect the view display on the web. In other word, is there another way to limit the documents display on the web? MY case is web browser display form, the form contains a embedded view, a column of the view (it controls the display by selecting categorize) contains formula to call another form which contains another view. So I don’t know why the last year documents lost.

    Thanks,

    Linda
