Can someone give me a good website where to learn how to create web project in lotus notes ?
Subject: Web project
Well, we could help you more if we knew more about you. What’s your level of experience with client development in domino? What’s your web design/development background? Start with this:
Subject: RE: Web project
I want to create a web application who will allow us to connect to a database with a password and a name of user. Now, i’ve create a form to login but I don’t know how to validate my form with lotusScript and to go to another form.
Subject: RE: Web project
well, you can force the user to log in if you use a url that ends in ?login
However, if you need to force validation when you go to the database, then you need to review your acl for the database you are trying to open. You should remove anonymous access from the database and set the default to no access. Do this IF AND ONLY IF access to the database is to be restricted to users in the ACL (ie if you need to access it without logging in for some people, anonymous still needs access). If this is the case, then you need to restrict access via the form access list (the key tab on the form). Restricting access will force the user to authenticate when they try to open a notes document using that form, or use the form in any way.
The best thing for you to do is open the Designer Help and go to the security category. Read every document (most have to do with this, and those that don’t, you should learn anyway to get a general idea of how Domino handles security).
Next go here
http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/cgi-bin/searchsite.cgi?query=domino+AND+security
and specifically, here
http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg247017.html?Open
and read the redbooks.
You can do all of this much faster than you can cobble together your own security model and implement it.
