I have just installed Domino 6.5 on my Fedora Core 2 Linux server. Users can access their mail just fine through the web-redirect tool. But in order to sign in, they have to use their full email address as their userid, ie “bchamber@mydomain.com.” Is there a way to set up the server so that the users only have to enter their shortname for their userid? I have looked all over the forum, but cannot find an answer. Please help me.

Did you check the settings in the Server document? Look at Security tab and Internet Authentication in the Internet Access section. Set it to ‘More name variations with lower security’ to allow use of short name.
