Web Form

I had a notes database created by a consultant to allow customers to subscribe to our newsletter. The form worked fine for several months and then suddenly quit working. When you click on the link on our website www.purjava.com You get an error 404 HTTP Web Server: Couldn’t find design note - Submits. If I look at the notes database purjava.nsf I see the submits view fine. I really don’t know what could be wrong as I’m not a notes expert and the consultant is no longer available. Can anyone offer some ideas?

Subject: Web Form

Harold,

It may be that someone has turned off Web access to the Submits view. Open your Designer client, open the purjava.nsf database, then select Views. Look for the Submits view and verify that the Web column has a check mark in it. If there is no check mark, that is the problem and that’s a really simple fix.

All you need to do to fix it is right click on the view, then select Design Properties. Click on the third tab (it has a t-square and triangle on the tab button), and de-select the option to hide the view from web clients.

Presto! The view should now work just fine from the web.

I was so hoping that would fix the problem. The option to hide the view from web clients was selected. I de-selected it and restarted Domino. It still gives the same message. HTTP Server: Couldn’t find design note - Submits.

Do you have any other ideas?
