Web browser HomePage using Policy

Hi Does anybody know if it is possible to set the Default Web Browser home page using policies.

We are looking at rolling out Lotus Notes on Linux clients and are looking at advising our users to web browse using the Notes webbrowser.

I cannot find a way of changing this setting from “about:blank”.

We would like to set this to our companies Intranet page.

Subject: I can’t seem to find a setting for it.

HiI THOUGHT there was a policy setting but I cannot find it anywhere in the pubnames.ntf :frowning:

I’ll try to follow up a bit more but it does not look like we have one.

Subject: Thanks Mary Beth

Hi,I have been through all possible settings locally for this and cant find where the setting is held once set.

One thing I am considering is putting a postopen in the mailfile design set this on the local clients but I cannot find the setting in any ini file/reg setting/db/application

I remember in Notes6 it was possible to set none standard client settings via policy, but as I am unsure where this info is held this would prove a little difficult
