Web attachments missing file names

OK, this is weird.

We create documents for display on our intranet (8.0.2 server) that include attachments. Normally the file names display with the attachment icon.

Starting this month, some attachment file names do not display. This does not happen on all documents and attachments. It does not depend upon the file type. I’ve tried changing the deleting spaces in the file name with no success. It is not dependent upon the user or Notes client used to create the document.

This one has me baffled. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Subject: Fixed in 8.5.2

Hello,i’ve opened a PMR for this issue.

IBM said that it’s fixed in 8.5.2 which comes in Q2/10.

Possibly a fix is available earlier, i’m in contact with IBM support. If so, i will let you know.

I had to make a work around that grabs the attachment name, and computes a link to it next to the attachment.

It looks like 8.5.2 won’t be out till Q3 according to: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/r5fixlist.nsf/progress/$first?OpenDocument
