Hi everyone,
I’ve recently been testing out the Cisco WebVPN - essentially, you use a browser to connect to the VPN appliance using SSL, and it acts as a proxy to internal servers for you.
Through this, I can successfully access my Domino Server, login to it, and open databases. However; there are problems viewing the contents of the dbs.
When I try to open a Teamroom, I can see all of the top and left-hand panes, but I cannot view any of the Teamroom documents. I can click to Add a document, and that page loads fine, but none of the ‘By date’, ‘by category’ etc views work.
When I try to open my mail file, if I am using the webmail template, it works fine. If I am using Domino Web Access 6 (iNotes web), then once again, the top bar loads, but none of my folders or email messages are displayed. I’ve tried installing the applets, and that didn’t help.
Does anyone have any ideas I can try to get these apps to fully load through a proxy?

I had the same problem but it was because of the Domino Applet setting on the Browser…
You have to have the security settings on the Browser to be Medium or change the access level for Signed Applets to PROMPT…and this should be taken care of…This is because the APPLETS are not running…

I’m still having problems with Teamrooms. I did manage to get the Domino Web Access working by following the instruction here:

I think that the problem may be because I am using the Sun Java VM. The security setting in IE only mentions the Microsoft VM.
Do you know if there is another place to change the security settings for the Sun Java VM?
If I can get Teamrooms working through our WebVPN then this could be a very good thing!
Within the Teamroom (6) I chose the option to install installable applets, and this seems to be doing nothing for the past 20 minutes…
Nothing seems to be happening, but I still have this message:
This will install the Domino applets. Please do not close this window until the installation process is complete. It may take a few minutes to download the applets from the server and install them to your hard drive. If you close this window before then, the applets will not be installed. You will be notified once the applets have been installed.
Any ideas?
