Web Access Customization - Adding banner to mails

Hi, I’m trying to do a customization of the domino web access database, to include a banner in specific sent messsages. The idea is put the banner in mails going to specific addresses/domains, listed in a document.

I’ve seen the “Customizing the look and feel of Domino Web Access” and “Manipulating data in Domino Web Access” articles, and I’ve made the following:

1 - Put the line “iNotes_WA_QueryAgents=1” in the server notes.ini.

2 - Included a line like in the following in the s_MailMemoDictionary subform.

<NOTESVAR NAME={$$QueryOpenAgent} TYPE={Text} INITIALVALUE=

{“(QSBannerAgent)”}>

3 - Put the (QSBannerAgent) agent in the mail template (StdR6Mail). The agent is quite simple, it creates a document and save it in the same database (for testing purposes). The agent configuration is:

  • Shared agent

  • Runtime: On Event, Agent List Selection, Target=None

  • Security: Run as Web user, Runtime Security Level=1, Default Access=All readers and above.

4 - Did a Design refresh of the mail database. This brings the agent to the mail database.

The agent was signed with de Id of the mail database owner, which have granted in the server document the following Programmability Restrictions:

  • Run unrestricted methods and operations.

  • Sign agents to run on behalf of someone else.

  • Sign agents to run on behalf of the invoker of the agent.

  • Run restricted LotusScript/Java agents.

  • Run Simple and Formula agents.

  • Sign script libraries to run on behalf of someone else.

Then, when I send a mail, the mail is sent, but in the server console appears the following line:

The New Mail Agent in mail\mnegrete failed: Error validating user’s agent execution access

Then I looked into the “Trobleshooting Agents” articles in the LDD, but i couldn’t found the solution.

Finally, when I Test the agent from the Designer, the following line appears in the agent log:

If this agent is run from the web browser on server ‘CN=ServerNameXXX/O=XXX’ this agent will not run unless the user is logged in as ‘CN=mnegrete/O=XXX’. This user does not have the rights to create agents that run as any web user.

Any ideas about this?

Excuse my English.

Regards

Martín
