I ran load convert on my server and it deleted folders in some mail databases. I’m having to restore the files from backup and go through and set the “do not replace on design refresh” for all the folders in these mail databases. It’s a huge pain and one I was assured would not happen in R6.

This occurs when the mail file does not have an associated mail template assigned to it. If you look through the adminstrator on all of your file templates, you will probably see that some of the mail files do not have a mail template. These are the ones that will have the folders removed when you either convert them to a newer version of notes or, apply a template and then refresh.
When it happens to us, it is usually a problem with the “user interface”! If a user takes the template off because they want to make a special modification…that is their responsiblity then to make sure they prevent their changes from being overwritten! =)
