Hi All,I want to prevent editing (from all 3 options of edit) my document if the value of user name is except “Parul”,how can i Would any one plz help me ,I am new beginner in Lotus.

There are a couple of ways to do this.
The most effective and secure is to give everyone Reader access to the database. If it is document specific (and you want users to edit different document), then give everyone Author access, and add an Authors field to your document which only has your name in it
Alternatively, you can put some script in the QueryOpen and QueryModeCVhange events on your Form to check the current user name and stop the open/change if it does not meet your criteria

It would be something along the lines of…
QueryOpen:
If source.editmode=True then
dim session as new notessession
if session.commonusername<>“Parul Gupta” then
continue=false
exit sub
end if
end if
Similar for QueryModeChange but change sourec.editmode=False (as you will be coming from read mode to edit, which is what you want to stop)
