Remote users have a connection document set up to point to our server. All lotus functionality is fine. However, if they connect to our Windows VPN server, they can use the VPN to access network drives, but Notes stops responding until the VPN is disconnected. Can any one tell me how to have Notes and the VPN work at the same time ?

Subject: vpn causing “server not responding”
Assuming you are using the built in PPTP VPN client for Windows 2000, go into the connection properties, to the Networking tab, and select TCP/IP. Click the Properties button, then the Advanced button. Make sure “use default gateway on remote network” is NOT checked. That will most likely fix it.
