Vista SP2 & Notes 8.5 Client

Anyone else having problems with this combination? I upgraded to SP2 the other day. The first thing I found was that I had to reboot one more time after the installer had already done it, just to get the client to launch.

Now I find I can’t open individual items in Designer (some, not all), and my Edit menu in the Notes client has gone away. Well, it’s there, I just can’t open it.

Subject: Resolved, I believ

The solution, at least for now, appears to be to shut down the Notes client and go to your Notes Data directory. There you should delete the following files:

bookmark.nsf

Cache.NDK

Then restart the Notes client and this files will get rebuilt. Now I have my Edit menu back, as well as the other designer-related commands that were missing from the other menus.
