Views and Outlines on the Web

I am developing a database that is to be accessed in both the Notes and Web Client. I would like to use the Java Applets to display the views and outlines. The views seem to work when displayed in the Notes Web browser but the outline is just visible and does not allow you to click on the navigational links.

In Internet Explorer (IE), neither display at all. I do not get an error just a white box. I have tried embedding the views on a page and then displaying the page but that does not seem to make a difference. If I set the outline and views to display as HTML things work as expected.

NOTE: The outline and views are being displayed in a frameset.

I have checked my settings in the IE browser and all seem to be set correctly.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this to work?

Make sure you have an up-to-date JVM in your browser, preferably one from Sun, rather than Microsoft’s built-in JVM.

You are a life saver. MY JVM was down one update and when I downloaded and installed the new update it all works great now.
