We have a problem with a ws.ViewRefresh call, from the QueryClose event of a document in the preview pane. It appears to cause a loop with “1 Document Selected” repeatedly flickering in the status bar, as if the QueryClose event is being repeatedly called by the refresh when selecting another document in the view (or folder - Inbox in this case - it’s a customised mail template). It also appears to be refreshing the other frames (e.g. the follow Up/Notices/To Do frame) rather than just the Inbox. The problem doesn’t exist in versions up to and including 8.5.1, and it runs fine when opening and closing a document directly from the view/folder.
Has anyone experienced the same problem, or has any suggestions for work-around? We currently have to hide the refresh when the doc is opened in the preview pane which isn’t ideal.
