Hi,

Didn’t have time to take a deep look but for what i’ve seen, there is not a lot of infos that is pertinent ou useful.

I think you will have to place a support call at IBM because, the log entries a not verbose enough.

Have you put every Notes.ini debug settings?

Another idea, depending on what you are trying to accomplish, would be to have an embedded view (from the other database) on a form (in the current database) and open that form.

Just an idea. If you are truly wanting to open the view say from an Outline button, then this may not be what you are looking for.

Well the problem has changed!

Now i want to open a document with the button, it should be a specific document, a document that has an equal field (username) as a field on my doc (from which i am opening the form)!

Thanks

OK:@Command([FileOpenDatabase];“Server”:“Folder\DBANME.NSF”);

@IfError(@DbLookup(“”:“NoCache” ; “Server”:“Folder\DBNAME.NSF”; “RTLkupByKey”; “View Category Name”; 1);

@Return(@Prompt([Ok];“Unavaliable”;“Sorry - no help documentation exists for this action”)));

@Command([OpenView]; “RTLkupByKey”;“View Category Name”);

@Command( [OpenDocument]);

@If(@Command( [AttachmentLaunch] );

@Do(

@Command([FileCloseWindow]);

@Command([FileCloseWindow]);

@Command([FileCloseWindow]);

@Command( [WindowMinimizeAll] ));

@Return(“”))

My one also closes the document & db in notes, and minize’s the notes window, as it was a word document…

If what you are doing is inside a database, then you can specifiy on the outline to use another database, not the current one…
