View with single column

I have a view with single column that i make it as a view for a search result. Can i make the view expand and collapse same as a view with 3 column? this is the coding for the single column view :

Subject: Collapse a search results view?

I don’t understand what you’re trying to do. Search results aren’t generally categorized, so what are you thinking to collapse?
