View Updation

Hi

i have two different view named view1 and view2 are refering different forms named form1 and form2 respectively,

in view1 it is refering only one form named form1 and and in it if suppose employee resigning the view is going to update,

because it is refering the field that we have named “EmpStatus” and making that field “resigned” while we archiving the name of employee!

but in second view is referring the second database and second form2 on that database, this view should not display the Resigned employee information in it that we have done in that form1 and view1 in the first database,

so that’s why i m reffering the that field in the form2 by hardconding and @dblookup " it is working fine and displaying information in the second database as employee as resigned,

but problem occurs when i m reffering that field in view2 it is still not updating as employee as still showing in the view though they are “resigned”

So anybody can help me in this regards

I’m not sure I understand, but I think you’re saying that in your FORM you have a formula that works (looks up this information), but that the VIEW doesn’t seem to record this change.

If the document has not saved this new information, then this is correct behavior. You’d have to, say, run an agent to lookup this information and push it into your docs on a regular basis, or have the changed documents in the other db push their info to the corresponding document in this db.
