View Selection and if Response exists

I think I’m shooting for the moon here … but thought I’d ask.

I have a db with document/responses/R2R’s. I want a view of just the documents that have a particular response. For example, if document has response A and response B, I want my selection to say only include the document (and the response) IF the document has a response B document. If it has a response A only, I don’t want the document or response A in the view.

Any hope? Can I do something with folders?

TIA

Hi Tammy,

A key question here is how would you ‘distinguish’ response A from response B? Is it a keyword or a category or just some text in a field? Or are response A and response B like multiples?

If any of the above, first just try some columns and some combinations of conditions:

1>

@if(@isresponsedoc & @contains(category; “A”); “Yes”; No")

2>

@if(@Responses > 2; “Yes”; “No”)

3>

@If( @Responses > 1 & @docsiblings > 1; “Yes”; “No”)

Just some ideas to get you thinking. Nothing here is useful on its own…
