View (($PeopleGroupsFlat)) not found in database (names.nsf)

Hi Guys,

I received a vCard via mail and tried to import it directly from the mail to my personal address book (by double-clicking the vcf-attachment and clicking “Open”).

Then I receive two error messages “Invalid or nonexistent document” and in the status bar “View (($PeopleGroupsFlat)) not found in database (names.nsf)”.

But that view DOES exist in my names.nsf!

When I open my address book and import the vCard(detached from the mail to my local file system) manually via File, Import it works fine… so the vCard itself seems to be all right. I also tried other vCards (e.g. exported one from my PNAB, mailed it to me and tried to re-import it)… same procedure.

I could reproduce this behaviour with all our 8.0.1 Clients.

Sure, I can use the workaround with detaching to the file system… but importing directly from the mail would be far more comfortable. Any ideas?

Kind regards

Benjamin

Subject: Workaround by Lotus Support

Hi,I’ve got the same error. Contacting the IBM Support I got an workaround fixing that problem.

You have to add “Contact” in the Name of the “Kontakt” mask in the template.

It seems that this problem only occurs on German clients.
