View is not in the View list in Designer. What to do?

Hi,

I am using a Embeded View in a Form. It’s working fine in Web. The View has been shown under left hand side all View list pane while opening the database from Notes Client.

But the View has not been shown in Domino Designer View list. So I can not open it in Designer.

N.B. : Both View and Form in which it is embeded, has same name.

What to do? Please help.

you are sure this is not a folder you are using in your embedded view?

If this is a shared view and you are using the same ID in both cases, this does sound strange indeed.

You can always choose Actions → View Options → Design… from the client menu. But I’m not sure I had much trust in the health of that database.
