We have upgraded our Lotus Domino 7 to 8.5.2 which is running in RHEL5. The entire process went well. By mistake we have replaced the designe of names.nsf with stdR85mail template.
once again we have replaced the designe to StdR4PublicAddressbook template.
When we are registering a new person after selecting cert id, it is giving a error like “Error Updating Cert ID”, Entry not found in Index.
2.From Administrator - Configuration - Current Server Document, It is throwing a error like "View is Damaged, Please rebuild it (by pressing shift+9 or running UPDALL -r)
please suggest me to rectify the above problem.
If I need to run Shift+9 or UPDALL -r, where do i need to run this. If there is any other method to overcome this issue please inform
Both the recommendations are safe. You should pick one and do it immediately.
Shift + F9 can be run from the client when you have the server names.nsf open. In fact, I would do a Ctrl + Shift + F9 to rebuild ALL the views in names.nsf. This may tie up your client for a while.
The alternative, updall -r, is run from the admin console and will not tie up your client. you would open the admin client and open a console to the server in question OR view the console physically ON the server in question. Send a console command of : load updall names.nsf -r
I have done as u suggested, but still i am getting error when accessing configuration - server - all server Document. It through a error as “Error locating a Domino Directory entry for certifier /O=precot: Entry not found in index”
