On a new client setup, why do all database icons display as a generic icon (all the same - 2 blue cylinders with the little yellow round people symbol) instead of the real db icon until you open each db ? Is there a way to refresh bookmarks to get all the icons to display normally as they would on the old workspace (desktop5.dsk) ?

Sounds strange to me. I’ve never recognized this. How did you get the databases added to the workspace?
The icon you describe usually appears if a replica cannot be found locally or on any of the servers.

I’m using an Organization Policy which points to a Desktop Settings document. The desktop settings have all the bookmarks in the “Bookmarks to merge…” field. The correct icons are displayed in this field.

are you launching the notes client with bookmarks displayed as workspace ?there is a fixlist entry for 6.5 which says that this is not working since display may be wrong just after client startup -maybe that helps ?..

The problem appears to have stemmed from a removed workspace icon from bookmarks. Not sure though.
