VERY URGENTLY! Users of server Domino 8.0.2 can't open any of databases

Hello All,

Since yesterday (already the third time) the server is not responding. Tasks routing and others work correctly, (I see it on HW console), but users cannot open any of database and receive the message “remote system no longer responding”.

The analysis of the started processes on HW and on the console of server Domino shows that task Indexer (nupdate.exe) disable server when opening on one of database.

Newly we had upgraded Domino from 7.0.3FP3 to 8.0.2 and had inclusion of option “Allow document locking” for database on which occurs now task Indexer is disabled server.

People!!! Who knows how to resolve this problem? I would happy an any of ideas. Even if you do not know solution, but think that it would be possible to look there or there therefore we are ready to search in any part of Domino. Thanks.

Subject: Install a client on the server, accessing the server on 127.0.0.1 (connection document) and see if this one gets hit, too.

From Domino Administrator Client click :File - Preferences - User Preferences…

Select Port Tab - Click Trace Button

Server started and work correctly.User blocked access to “problem” database.

Therefore there is no necessity now to start ping and trace. During failures ping passes. If a situation will repeat I will try the offered variant. Your offer more about specifying a situation, instead of solving it. Thanks.
