VBA Initializing a Domino session

I have the following librarie as a reference: domobj.tlb

My code (taken from ‘Common ground: COM access to Domino objects’)

Dim session as NotesSession

Set session = CreateObject(“Lotus.NotesSession”)

call session.initialize (MyPassword)

I get this error message:

‘Notes error: Impossible d’ouvrir le fichier ID’

…french for : “Notes error: Enable to open ID file”.

Any help would be appreciated

Subject: VBA Initializing a Domino session

This error means that VB is not able to reach your ID file. I think it uses the Notes.ini file to get the path to your ID.

If you start Notes, does it ask you where is your ID or it prompts you for your password?
