Hi there,

Is there a way to validate a text field to have Alpha Numeric values? Example AA12345? So If the user inputs 12345 only, there should be a prompt informing the user to enter Alpha Numberic AA12345. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Is it a Web or a Client Application. If its a Web application u can use the following Javascript function.

Its a client application, But can this script be used still under input validation? or maybe on an event?

try this in input validation:

Hi Paul,

Is there a way to validate the input to have 2 letters and then 3 numbers? Instead of validating only if the text field has 1 letter and 1 number?
