Validation in Script Library "Works" but Notes Save Yes No is Displayed

As part of our planned migration of apps to R7 I am changing all save validations in apps (done in lots of different ways over the years) to a common method. Basically every application will have a Validation script library.

This almost works. However when a user clicks on “Save & Close” button, the validation from the script library is displayed but when they click on OK the Notes “Do you want to save” dialog appears. If the user says Yes then the validation triggers again. I don’t want this diaog appearing, I simply want to return the focus to the field that failed the validation.

The button code is:

@Command([FileSave]);

@Command([FileCloseWindow])

The call to the Validation check is done in the QuerySave event.
