I have a user who is trying to do a search in her inbox. There is no full text index on the mail file (we don’t allow them for space reasons). She picks a word and searches, but the search returns with “no matching documents were found” and all of the documents remain visible.
If I search in her mail file from MY desk, I can reproduce the problem - no results are returned for any search. But doing a similar search in my own mail file produces the expected results (it finds the matching documents and shows them).
I think I’ve run across this in the past but I can’t remember how I fixed it. It has to be a problem with the mail file since it can be reproduced on another machine … is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?
We are running Windows XP machines with Notes client 6.5.1 and server version 6.5.6 FP1, and we use the iNotes6 template.
