We recently had a case where upper management got the idea to rename the certifier for a whole department of names. I only found out about it after the change. To say the least it created a lot of havoc that I had to clean up.
To make things easier, in the future (it was a semi manual prodcedure to clean up the mess) I thought I could turn on Modify Names Fields but from a search in this forum, I see AdminP removes the name from the names field if it no longer in the Addressbook and in Notes’ infinite wisdom, they gave no option to avoid deletion.
I thought maybe a utility that would take a form name, a list of fields and a from list of names and to list of names. It would automaticlly change the names as specified. Is any one aware if such an agent already exists and where I might find it?
