Using xPages after 10 minutes in designer appear grey screen

After 10 minutes, when i try to change some property of a view element (for example width, height…), appear a grey screen.

Following steps is one of more ways to reproduce my problem:

  • open designer

  • open custom control with a view element

  • edit some property (width, height). in this step for any char that i insert in editbox property, i wait about 5 second!

  • refresh page on firefox

  • back to designer

  • edit width/height units (from pixel to percent) of view element or edit margin/padding property of view

  • designer remain blocked 10 second and after appear a grey screen

  • moving mouse appear and desapper some element of designer

  • i must close and reopen client and designer, to continue to work (for other 10 minutes).

I try to unistall and reinstall, but nothing changes!

Windows XP Professional SP3

2GB RAM

Any ideas??

Subject: How long did you wait before killing Designer?

  • I routinely see DDE lock up for over a minute before responding to anything. If you waited near two minutes this probably doesn’t apply.- Hope this helps…
