Using TSM TDP with Domino 6.5.3

I have a Mail server running 6.5.3 FP1 on Windows 2003 and I installed TSM TDP on the server and configured it. When I Launch the GUI and I click on the Restore tab the GUI disappears. I have TSM TDP 5.1.5.1 installed and I have SP1 on Windows 2003. Does anyone have any idea why.

Thanks

I have seen similar occurances. How are you connecting to the server to run the GUI? Are you using Terminal Services? If so…try rebooting the Domino server and connect using the Console 0 session (Shadow Session) of terminal services/Remote Desktop. You may want to look at microsoft docs on how to make this type of connection if unfamiliar.

There’s also a web interface for TDP available that you could run remotely…have you tried this yet? (I haven’t)

Let me know your info,

thanks,

Stu

You are using Windows 2003, so I would suggest upgrading to DP for Domino 5.3.0.1 - there were a few APARs for DP for Domino specific to Windows and the GUI that were fixed at 5.3.0.1.
