Here’s the problem:
While creating a new document in a database, I usually use the “Create Object” process, choosing “object from a file” and then choosing to “Display as icon”. When the file is displayed as an icon on the screen, in Notes 5, I would right click, then choose “Display As” and in the subsequent dialogue box, select “Rich Text Format”.
However, in Notes 6, instead of a dialogue box coming up after right clicking on the icon, as soon as the file appears, the screen is split, with what seem to be the object’s properties at the bottom. With various clicks, edits, etc., I can change the display as from icon to rich text format. However, when I try to save and close the file, after clicking “Yes” in the dialogue box, nothing happens. And the new document won’t close, and you can’t even close Notes itself, because it won’t get past the “Do you want to save this file?” dialogue box.
Now, if I just import a file, there’s no problem. But I would prefer to go the “Create Object” route.
