Hi there,
I have created this agent to run every hour. When I right click the agent and choose “Run”, Everything works perfectly. I just enabled the scheduled agent to run every hour, and its not working. I know that it is not working because in my agent, it should send an email to me at that hour. Im using lotus script and also, testing this agent in our template database.
Any comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the late response. Thanks for the info. Havent implemented the changes yet. Im going to try to test it on the actually server and not by using the template database.

Well … it could be running, but either the agent fails after it starts or the e-mail does not reach you. Do you have it scheduled to run on a server? Are you allowed to run scheduled agents on the server? What is in the log.nsf? What is in the log/history for the agent? When did it run last? Are you using error handling and logging in the agent?
My first bet is that you are using something that is not allowed in scheduled agents (such as UI methods).

Don’t forget that current versions of Domino don’t run scheduled agents in .NTF files (unless you tell amgr run “template.ntf” ‘agent’
