I am trying to use a reader field in a web based application. but still i am able to view the document in which i am not listed in the reader field. do reader field dosnt work in web…? or there is some pre-defined naming conventions of reader field…??
in reader field the value is :krish@krishserver.com
pls guide me…how to use reader field in web

Hello,
Readers and authors fields work just fine on the web.
The field data should also be saved in the same canonical format that’s used within the Notes client. Don’t use the e-mail address in the field - use the Notes name. So if you add “Johnny B. Goode/Sales/East/Acme/US” to a Readers field, the field contents should store the value as “CN=Johnny B. Goode/OU=Sales/OU=East/O=Acme/C=US”.
