Nomad’s a hit so far with our staff who regularly travel around to our retail locations. When they arrive, they can plug into one of two XP Machines we have in each store and they’re working. Our retail locations all have access to our Domino servers via some VPN solution. Now, the inevitable question came up about using Nomad from home or while travelling elsewhere. Jeff Eisen mentioned that he is using a VPN client on his USB Stick, although he admits its a hack to get it copied over. The VPN we use installs a bunch of files to Windows/System32 directory and so its probably not the easiest to copy to a USB, much less supported. I’d like to know if there are any officially supported VPN clients that are made for use on USB flash drives. Any one out there using such a solution?
