Hi
I need to know how we can call a Javascript agent in the Lotus Agent. I am using the following code, but it doesn’t seem to be working…
…
Print “”
…
…
Print “”
The above code doesn’t seem to work, but if i use
Print “”
then it works!
What I am trying to do is set a flag and close the window when the user clicks on ‘ok’ and then based on the flag value, set some fields on another document. I need to know how I can set a flag using javascript and then access this value in the Lotus script agent.
All this is happening in the same agent.
I hope I have explained what I need clearly…Can anyone help me out here?
Thanks!
I appreciate all the help

I’m not sure you can.
AFAIK when printing HTML, the HTML won’t display in the browser until the agent has completed. There is no way to make the same web agent construct a page in the browser, wait for the user to press a button and then read the value from the page.
Is there any scope to split the functionality in to different design components. i.e. design a custom form with a WQS agent that responds to the value set in the button press. And in your original agent rather than printing HTML just print a redirect to the custom form.

I may be off base here but shouldn’t thevar flag = ‘True’; (note your missing the “;”) be before the window.close(self);?? Your closing the window so I think that all the code after that will never get run.
