I know currently there is a way to mark message with colors based on the sender. But it allows only to a max of three different colors. Is it possible to increase this limit, instead of just 3 sets of users?

yes, if you are willing to modify the design of the mail file. The color values are read from the profile document that you update through Tools > Preferences > Message Marking and the views and folders use the column property to read the values from the profile document. If you are an experienced developer, you should be able to update the dialog to have more than 3 sets of user names and to have the various views and folders support the additional sets.

I am not an experienced developer. I am very new to lotus notes. Moreover i am not really in the favor of end user having to write code to modify anything for a feature that could be easily configurable. It would be really nice to have the end user just configure it in the preferences dialog or even better the message marking screen providing an add button incase he wants to use more color sets. I would really like to see this feature in the future releases. Thanks.
