Using an Access database for Notes "TO:" addresses

I have a client who wishes to use the names/addresses/etc maintained in an Access database as the data source for mass e-mailings. Does anyone have a good idea on how this may be accomplished? Is there an agent involved? Thanks in advance.

There are many ways, but I’d probably create a server address book (based on pernames.ntf) which syncs with the access db via either LEI or a scheduled LS agent using LS:DO or the LCLSX.

It is possible to write an agent that writes to/from an access database, or use a third-party tool like Notrix. The Notes client would still be reading a Notes database, but that database would be populated to/from the Access database. (At which point you ask yourself “Now why was it that we needed the Access database?”)

That’s what I was thinking, too, esp when the client said they did not have THAT many addresses. But, they already have them in that format and I guess are reluctant to take the time to put them into a LN group or some such.
