User's that leave the company

After all, sorry for my bad english.

I have a Group “Deny Access”, and i move there the users i need, so they can’t conect; all is ok.

But if any user want to send a mail, for example, he can choose these users too.

How can avoid it?

Thanks.

rafael,

Like paul mentioned you can copy the user to a “terminated persons” database.

If you do not want to send mail to that user you can “hide” the person doc to all users. The downsode is that they cannot mail them anymore.

Maybe an mail-in document will do the trick…

Just try it.

Remove the person via Adminp, then you´ll get rid of the mailfile as well.

But i need to conserv the mail file for a period of time to get access to the mails (another user).

In resume, all i need will be that another user has its mail file and the mail file of the old user. That is why i am not removing the person via Adminp.

ok, but why not just delete the persondocument?Or cut/paste it into a backup DD if you think you might need it in the future.

deleting the persondocument, will i be able to access to his mail file if the ACL is change?

This could be a solution, Thank you.

yes, you can still access the mail file. As previously mentioned, cut the person doc from the DD and save it in a temporary backup DD. Later down the road you can paste the person doc back in to your production DD so you can then run the delete request via AdminP.
