User's rules stop working after upgrade to domino 8

Hello, I have a problem with mail rule.

I had a cluster of two server one with SLES10 and Domino 7 (used as primary server) and one with 2k3 and Domino 7. In order to upgrade to rel. 8 few day ago I have changed the primary server with a brand new x3650. I have installed w2k3 and Domino 8.0.2 (64bit), copyed the server.id from old to new server and replicated all mail db from the other cluster node.

Everything is working fine the only problem is with mail rules: on most mail database don’t work anymore.

Probably it’s sufficient to erase and redo the rule, but I would prefer to avoid since there are about 70 users with various rules.

Any idea to reactivate the mail rule?

For a user (and I hope will be the only) is also gone to the list of junk senders.

Thanks much for the help!

Subject: mail rules

Mail rules are processed by the Domino mail server at the router level when incoming mail is processed. The rules are initialized on the server when the rule is created. So, since the server wasn’t directly upgraded, it’s likely that the rules aren’t being seen by the router. You could try bouncing the router task after refreshing the cache.

sh nlcache reset

restart task router

Subject: forgot mail models

I forgot … some users use the model dwa7, other Ext6Mail or StdR6Mail (yes… the next work is to upgrade everyone to mail8). However the problem is for all users, so I think is independent from the model
