Users mail size is not changing when he archives or deletes mail. Has logged out and back into notes size remains unchanged and he is unable to send mail since he is over the allowed size for his mailbox. Any suggestions?

There will be deletion stubs in the database after documents are deleted.
When “updall” is run on the server old stubs are removed and space is freed. Deletion stubs are keep for 30 days as default
Compacting with the right parameters afterwards will free the space.
