User's group access NULL

server is 6.5.3 FP1. One user cannot access DD on home mail server. She can access DD replica on every other server. When I do @UserNamesList on home mail server all that shows up is user’s name and certifiers. If I do the same thing on the other servers I can see all of her groups. Appears the server is not calculating her group memberships. Anyone know what I can check? When I run effective access check for user she gets -Default- which is No Access. She should be getting Author access via our corporate access group. She’s not in any DenyAccess groups. I can see her listed in the the groups docs when I check the groups. Tried updall and fixup on DD also.

Subject: Check the ($ServerAccess) view in the NAB

This is the view the client uses to determine which group memberships the user has when a connection to a server is established. The view may need its index rebuilt.

already tried that but thx anyway.

Subject: ($ServerAccess) view in the NAB

We have a similar problem. Several times on our 6.0.5 server (Sun Sparc Solaris 9), since we upgraded it from 6.0.4 we have had users complaining they cannot log in (thru the web). They can log in to the other server in the cluster with no problems. Investigations show that somewhere down the chain of User->SubGroup->Group the lookup is failing. If I click in the view and type the failed lookup value it does not jump to the entry, tho’ I can see it in the view. I can jump to entries either side fine.

I tried F9, SHIFT+CTRL+F9, updall but nothing would convince it the entry was there. Eventually I opened the ($ServerAccess) view in the Designer client, resaved it and it suddenly worked fine (until the next time)!

I don’t know if is the same problem you were having, but I can only assume it is a bug.
