@Username work around

I am trying to create a view that filters all the records that were not created by the current Lotus user.

I have read the documentation and it says not to use @Username in public views, however private views are out of the question since we are using the web.

I see that this topic has been discussed a lot on the forums. It seems that this type of filter should be pretty basic. Does anybody now how to do this?

Thank you in advance

This is pretty close to what you are asking and could be adapted to your specific needs.

  1. Show the view embedded in a form with a selection criteria of username. This will be very fast and work for client and/or web. The form could have almost nothing in it except the embedded view. You might even want to launch it in a frameset to provide some additional control.

You’ve got two choices: Readers fields if users should be actively prevented from seeing documents created by other people, or single-category embedded views in a form if you want to present a particular batch of documents but are willing to allow people to see others’ documents under some circumstances.
