I notice whenever I delete a user from the address book, the name still exist in the group which they belongs too. Is it meant to be that way or should it be deleted too as part of the admin process?

Has your Domino Directory an Administration server assigned (Advanced tab of ACL)?
I had the same problem some time ago, this entry was missing.
