%username%.dsk: can it be removed?

Hello all…

C:\temp%username%.dsk

Can this file be removed from client machines…? Our Notes development team seem to think that a file over 5mb causes problems, we can sort this by removing the file on logout… But what could the side effects be?? is it safe to do??

Any details on this .dsk file will be appreciated…!

Thanks…

JM.

what client version are you using? Those fields are there for a reason and you should fill them in so we can better assist you. Putting All Releases does not help.

I don’t have this file in my config and I’ve never seen it before. Typically the DSK file exists in the data directory but even then it’s not named by username, at least not in ND6.5 or less.

I’m on 6.5.1 and don’t have that file. why don’t you take a few test users and rename the file and see if there are any negative side-effects. If so then just name it back.
