Hi, a user was renamed with the administration process. After the end of renaming process his disk crashed, and for some reasons I was not able to recover the “renamed” id but only the original one. Since the grace period was over, the user no longer had access to dbs with his old name. I could get into dbs by adding his old name back to the ACL, but that’s only a workaround.Is there a way to add new name infos to his old id, or do I have to rename him again?

Rename the id using the admin client, then recertify it.

Rename him back to the original name. Wait an hour or so for that to filter through the adminp processes, then rename him forward again. Next time he connects with the old-named ID file, it will accept the rename into the ID.Done it several times in places that didn’t have ID recovery in place, so the only backup ID file was for an old name. Works like a charm.
